Absconding

This example is from Asheville, North Carolina USA on October 5, 2018.
After about 2 days, the bees came back for their honey. For three days, October 6th through the 8th, the hive lost weight at a linear rate. If this had been robbing, the rate of loss would have accelerated. the hive lost about 40 lbs.
